Kano Pillars win NorthWest derby as Insurance shoot down 3SC

Kano Pillars yesterday edged Katsina United in the Northwest Derby with a hard-fought 1-0 win in the MatchDay 2 of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the Sani Abacha stadium.

Pillars who lost the first league game came into this game with all intent and purpose to return to winning ways against a major rival.

The home team led through Ibrahim Mustapha’s goal in the 27th minute to open the goal-scoring chart for the Sai Masu Gida to maintain their supremacy over Katsina United.
