A man has appeared before a Kano Shari’a Court sitting in Shahuchi for allegedly posing as a demon to defraud a woman seeking spiritual intervention.
The suspect, Yusuf Usman Kofar Wambai along with his accomplice, Joseph Audu, who is at large, allegedly collected N338, 000.00 from the complainant and warned her not to tell anyone.
He was charged with conspiracy to commit offence, intimidation, breach of trust and fraud.
The Khadi, Abdu Abdullahi Wayya, transferred the case to an Upper Shari’a Court sitting in Shahuci where he pleaded guilty.

Khadi Muhammad Sani Abdullahi of the court ordered his remand in prison till January 18, 2025 for judgement.
