A Kano State Sharia court sitting at Hausawa Filin Hockey in Kano metropolis has remanded a man, Abdullahi Muhammad, in a correctional facility for allegedly beating his wife to a pulp.
The defendant was charged with using excessive force, intimidation and threat during an alleged fight with his wife, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The Khadi, Abdullahi Halliru, adjourned the case to June 14, 2024.
