Lawmaker representing Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency in Kano State, Ghali Mustapha Tijjani, has disbursed 3600 bags of rice, 6000 bags of Millet, 6000 bags of maize, 60 school of nursing scholarships and N20 million to youths and women in his constituency, as part of efforts to empower them.
Also, the lawmaker unveiled his work and action plans for the year 2024.
During the occasion, food supplies were distributed to 18,000 individuals.
1,000 youths were empowered with a cash grant of ₦20,000 each, while 60 female students were granted full sponsorship to pursue nursing studies.
Addressing the gathering in Gaya local government, Ghali reassured the community that these initiatives mark the commencement of his first-quarter projects and pledged to continue fulfilling his campaign promises with subsequent endeavors.
According to him ,“I am pleased to unveil my 2024 roadmap and action plan. Today, we distribute palliatives worth ₦320 million. In the upcoming quarter, we will empower farmers, followed by youth empowerment with skills and equipment in the third quarter.
“Finally, in the fourth quarter, we will commission all constituency projects. We have already facilitated job opportunities and enhanced community infrastructure by installing solar street lights and repairing boreholes. We remain committed to the Kwankwasiyya mandate.”
Representing the Kano State governor, Alhaji Wada Daho, Deputy Party Chairman of NNPP Kano South, commended the member’s efforts and urged constituents to support both his initiatives and the state government, promising further developments in the future.
