Kano gets free farmer advisory centre

Fiyah global concept limited in collaboration with Wacot Limited has opened a free farmer advisory centre that will guide and assist farmers on advanced use of agricultural inputs and simple tools among others that will ensure increased yield as well as ensured farmer’s economic status.

Speaking to farmers during the official opening of the centre at Chiromawa village in Garun Malam Local Government of Kano State, head of Wacot agricultural input division Mr. Pankaj Chawla said the initiative was to ensure that good and qualitative agricultural inputs are within the reach of the farmer.

According to him, with the recent agricultural revolution being experienced in Nigeria, there was need for the farmers to be educated on basic agricultural practices.

The Managing Director, Fiyah Global Concept Limited, Mr. Ramesh Ghadge stated that the centre is the first of its kind in the country adding that it will work directly with the farmers to have an improved yield and to also achieve and end-to-end solution to agricultural project.
