Kano emirates: We are in support of Wudil under Gaya emirate – Group

A group of Wudil community leaders and prominent stakeholders in Wudil Local Government Area of Kano state under the umbrella of Wudil Patriotic Group has said they are in total support of the creation of four new emirates in Kano and also in support of the seeding of Wudil under Gaya Emirate council.

This was contained in a communiqué issued and jointly signed by the Chairman of the group, Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim Lajawa and the group’s secretary Alhaji Audu Sale Utai.

According to the communiqué, the people of Wudil wishes to extend their gratitude to Kano state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Kano state House of Assembly for creating the four additional emirate councils.

It added that the move will no doubt improve the social, economic and political activities of Wudil under Gaya emirate.

“After serious deliberations and a prolong discussion, the group has unanimously come up with the resolution that the people of Wudil will continue to be in support of all acts and activities that will foster the development of Wudil, Kano state and Nigeria in general,” it stated.
