The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has said the emirate and other emirates in Kano State are ready to collaborate with development agencies in providing quality maternal healthcare and other health services for the people.
He spoke when he received a delegation from development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC) and a coalition of CSOs who paid him an advocacy visit to his palace.

He said the door of the emirate would always be open for consultation, advice and collaboration in order to help the government provide sustainable healthcare and social services to the people.
“As I mentioned earlier, I will reiterate our support to your organisation. I pray Allah to give you the reward He promised those who do such benevolent acts of charity. May He in His infinite mercy make us partakers in the reward,” he said.
Earlier, leader of the delegation, Alhaji Ubale Rano, stated that the centre in collaboration with other CSOs had done various projects in the state.
He listed them to include Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health at Scale (PacFaH@Scale), Partnership for Advancing Women Economic Development (PAWED), Teacher Development for Transition (TDT) and Essential Health Services (CSOs4KEHS) Project among others.
