Kano State Commissioner for Water Resources, Sadiq Aminu Wali, the son of a prominent Kano politician and stakeholder in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has resigned.

In a statement, he said he resigned to pursue other opportunities in his political career.

He thanked Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the people of the state for the opportunity to serve the state.

According to him, the administration has worked tirelessly to enhance and grow the water sector to meet the ever-increasing challenges ranging from adequate and sustainable water supply as in the AFD initiative to better management of water resources and utilisation.
