Kano Assembly partners with Media Trust Group to enhance communication strategies

The Kano State House of Assembly has expressed readiness to partner with the Media Trust Group (MTG) to enhance communication strategies and foster effective information dissemination.

In a statement on Wednesday by the Assembly’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the Speaker, Jibril Ismail Falgore, emphasised the vital role of media in societal development.

He specifically commended the Daily Trust Newspaper for its significant socio-economic contributions to Northern Nigeria and the country at large.

Falgore urged the publication to continue its commitment to unbiased reporting and innovative public education.

He underscored the Assembly’s dedication to promoting transparency and effective communication under his leadership.

Speaking, Abdullahi Mainasara, Assistant General Manager of MTG, commended Falgore’s leadership and his achievements in stabilising the Assembly.

 

He acknowledged the speaker’s vision and efforts in driving quality legislation for the 10th Assembly.

Mainasara reiterated MTG’s commitment to partnering with the Assembly to offer training, consultancy, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving communication and public engagement.

Shamsuddeen Sani Hussaini, Regional Manager for the Kano office of the Media Trust Group, highlighted the long-standing cordial relationship between MTG and the Kano State government, emphasising its mutual benefits.

He stressed the importance of extending this relationship to the legislative arm of the state.
