Hon. Halilu Kundila, member representing Bagwai/Shanono constituency in the Kano state house of Assembly, is dead.
Details of his death are sketchy but the Speaker, Ismail Falgore, has commiserated with the deceased on behalf of the entire member of state assembly.
According to Falgore, Kundila died after a brief illness on Sunday.
In a statement which his Chief Press Secretary issued on his behalf, the speaker said the death occurred at a critical time when his people and entire people of Kano state needed him most.
He added that the loss is not only for Shanono and Bagwai people but the entire people of Kano.
“On this sad day on behalf of my family and members of state assembly ,I sent our heartfelt condolence to the family of Hon. Halilu Kundila, member representing Shanono / Bagwai constituency and our deep sympathy are with his family”.

Falgore also prayed to Allah to repose Kundila’s soul, forgive his shortcomings and give the family the fortitude to bear the lost.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rite.
