Kano Assembly clears Major General Muhammad Inuwa as commissioner

The Kano State House of Assembly has cleared retired Major General Muhammadu Inuwa nominated for the position of commissioner and member of the state executive council by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

A press statement issued to newsmen by Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker of the state House of Assembly on Wednesday, announced that during the plenary session, the honourable members unanimously confirmed and approved the governor’s nominee as commissioner while commending his vast knowledge in the areas of internal and external security.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly congratulated the nominee and urged him to uphold an unwavering commitment to enhancing the prosperity, peace, and stability of Kano State.
