As the newly elected Management Committee of the all-Nigeria Polo Federation (NPF) settles down to business, the newly elected President Nura Sani Kangiwa has unveiled a five-year strategic plan that would take the national polo ruling authority to greater heights.

Kangiwa disclosed this in his acceptance speech shortly after he took over from the immediate past President, Francis Ogboro who stepped down voluntarily after two decades of service.

The new NPF boss, who is also the Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), pointed out that the plan intends to leverage the age–long credentials of the noble game as one of the biggest drivers of tourism worldwide, and reposition Nigeria in the global tourism map.

“I am pleased, honored and humbled for the confidence and trust bestowed on me to serve as President of Nigeria Polo Federation, to pilot the affairs for the next two years.”

“I accept this important role; this is a responsibility that I do not take lightly, and I will endeavour to represent NPF’s best interest,” he added in the historic speech shortly after he was inaugurated alongside his newly elected Exco members in the Plateau State capital city.

” We look forward to utilizing their offer of support; in the same vein, I would also like to congratulate each of the new federation members. “With your help and support, I will do my best to meet the aspirations, projections and challenges facing our Federation,” he added.
