The UFC revealed that Mohammed Usman on his debut will take on Australian mixed martial artist Junior Tafa.

Mohammed confirmed his UFC debut with a picture on his official Instagram account along with a message that said, “April 22 WE CLOCK IN.”

Mohammed’s debut in the UFC comes just a week after his elder brother Kamaru Usman suffered another defeat to English professional mixed martial artist Leon Edwards.

Kamaru in the fifth round suffered a head-kick knockout loss to Edwards in the main UFC 278 to win the UFC Welterweight Championship at the Vivint Arena, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States back in August 2022.

Edwards was able to record a majority decision victory win against Usman in the rematch that took place at the 02 Arena in London, United Kingdom in March 2023.

Mohammed attended to watch his brother in action and is now set for his first UFC outing.
