The results of the company long-term investment show an increase of 1.11 per cent from N585 million in 2009 to N590 million in 2010.

On the other hand, investment in subsidiary for the company during the year under review increase by 4.75 per cent from N69 million to N71 million.

Despite huge provisions for the diminution in the value of stock assets, the company still made a net profit after tax of N750,779 in 2010 as against a loss of N2.4 million in the preceding year with an overall increase of 132 per cent.

Speaking on the future of the company at the annual general meeting in Lagos, the chairman of the company Professor Wale Omole said the board understands the unprecedented dynamism of the business environ and therefore the strategy direction will further be unleashed to proactively envisage possible opportunities in the economy and mitigate against people threats that may adversity affect the company operations.
