The founder of Different Design Company in Kaduna, Sa’id Haruna has encouraged youths in the state to explore their talents and potentials; advising them to acquire skills that can help them become self-reliant irrespective of their educational status.
Speaking at a summer start-up session organised by the company in collaboration with Ideal Aid and Development Initiative, Haruna discouraged youths including under-graduates and graduates from idle; urging them to engage in productive activities that can make life worth living for them. “A lot of people have talents and potentials that need to be explored so that they can help themselves and the people around them,” he said.
The summer start-up session according to him was organised for youths in the state as an avenue of networking among young businesses and NGOs in the state. Operators of businesses including makers of fresh fruit juice, fashion designers, sellers of clothes, interior decoration accessories as well as charity organisations attended the event to showcase what they’ve got.
