Kaduna woos Igbo investors

He told members of the community who visited him that his administration had improved infrastructural development and provided laws to attract local and foreign investors, adding that security is guaranteed.
“I want to assure you that you will continue to be safe and your businesses will continue to be safe in Kaduna State. For me, a Nigerian is free to live in any part of the country, as long as you are going to live in peace with the people you meet there”, he said.
The governor urged Nigerians to eschew ethnic, political and religious differences, saying; “It is best to set aside our differences and live as one people. We need to integrate and live together in peace, which is the only way to build a strong nation.”
The Eze Igbo of Kaduna State, Igwe Sir Engineer Sylvanus Aneke, thanked the governor for appointing a member of the Igbo Community, Mr Eugene Modebe, as a Special Assistant, saying, “By this appointment, you have demonstrated that you are one of the few nationalistic Nigerians. You have shown that tribes and tongues may differ, but we remain one people with one destiny.”
