Two teenage herders identified as Shehu and Maube have escaped after their abductors slept off at their den in the Kaduna Forest.
City & Crime had reported that bandits on Tuesday, whisked away the two victims and rustled their cows and sheep at Kuchimi village in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
A resident of Janjala, Shuaibu Aliyu, said the victims escaped after their abductors slept off, saying their abductors took lots of wines and liquors and slept off thereafter.
“The bandits tied both hands and legs of one of the boys, while the other one was not tied. So, after the bandits slept off, the other boy quietly untied his brother and they both escaped,” he said.
