The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has described the killing of one Solomon Atiku by a soldier in Kaduna South last Friday as nothing but extra judicial killing
The senator who was in Unguwan Yelwa, Television in Kaduna South on Sunday to console with the family of the deceased said, "We will not let this issue be buried without the family being compensated and make sure the culprit is brought to book and punished to the latter."
He said, "If such a young man can be killed just like that by a soldier and we fold our arms and keep quite, it means everyone of you can be killed that way."
While assuring the family that he will be on top of the issue, he expressed concern over how armed personnel misuse the power given to trample of the rights of human beings.
He added, "The family of the deceased is now the responsibility of the society and we have to make sure that we do all what we can to cater for their needs."
