Kaduna state government has relaxed the curfew in all 23 local government areas of the state and now permits movement from 6am to 6pm.
The state had earlier maintained a 24-hour curfew in Kaduna south and Chikun local government areas after it relaxed the curfew in other LGAs over what the state government maintained was an attempt by criminals to violate life and property.

However, the state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan on Wednesday stated that after a review of the security situation, it decided to review the curfew hours throughout the 23 LGAs of the state.
“Movement is restricted during the night-time curfew hours of 6pm to 6am,” he stated. He appealed to residents of the state to remain vigilant, report criminals and continue to cooperate with the security agencies.
