Rector of the Federal School of Statistics, Manchok, Kaduna State, Mr. Amos Magbon, has been released, almost 48 hours after he was abducted by some armed men.
Daily Trust reports that Magbon had been kidnapped from his house in Manchok on Tuesday night.

Confirming the release of the rector, his brother, Innocent Magbon, said Amos had been released by his abductors, but didn’t mentioned if any ransom was paid.
Also released was Brenda Friday, a niece to Philip Yatai, a correspondent of NAN, whose father was killed by the gunmen in an attack on his home in Manchok, also on Tuesday night.
Philip Yatai also confirmed the release of his niece by her abductors.
