The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won in two local governments while the All Progressives Congress (APC) has claimed two, making four LGAS declared so far by the electoral umpire, INEC.
The governorship candidate of the PDP is Isah Ashiru Kudan, while the incumbent Governor Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufai contested in Saturday’s election under the APC.
While Ashiru lost in his Kudan LGA to the APC, El-Rufai is seeking a re-election for a second term.
Also, while the PDP won in Kaura and Jaba LGAs, APC won in Kudan and Makarfi LGAs.
The results of governorship poll in four local government areas of Kaduna state announced so far are below:

Meanwhile, INEC returning officers are currently on break but will resume shortly.
