Kaduna State Government has lifted the night time curfew on Kasuwan Magani in Kajuru local government and Kujama, in Chikun local government of the state.
Curfew was imposed on Kasuwan Magani and Kujama and other major towns in Kaduna state following the outbreak of violence in some parts of the state in October.
It will be recalled that the curfews in other towns were lifted gradually but that of Kasuwan Magani and Kujama had remained.
The state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, while speaking with Daily Trust on Friday said the 5pm to 6am curfew in Kasuwan Magani and Kujama has now been lifted.
He said the Kaduna State Security Council reviewed the situation in the state in the two communities and decided that the situation in the two towns is calm enough for the curfew to be lifted.
