Kaduna Electric warns on recruitment scam

The management of Kaduna Electric has warned members of the public, particularly job seekers, to beware of scammers who have been misinforming the public of a recruitment exercise by the company.
A statement signed the by the Head, Corporate Communications, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, said the recruitment exercise embarked upon by the company some months ago was successfully concluded and no such exercise is in progress.
The statement said the company was aware that some mischief makers had been taking advantage of the desperation of job seekers to spread wrong information that a recruitment portal had been opened by the company where candidates are to apply for jobs.
It said there is no truth in the information that it opened a recruitment portal and urged the public to ignore it and avoid paying money to anyone for access to it.
