The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has appointed Dr. Mustapha Shitu as the Executive Secretary of Kaduna Industrialisation and Microcredit Board.
The appointment was announced August 10th, 2020 by El-rufai’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye.
Dr. Shitu, until his appointment, was a lecturer at Ahmedu Bello University Zaria.
He holds a first degree in Business Administration from University of Abuja, an MA in Islamic Management, Banking and Finance from Loughborough University UK, an MSc in Business Information Technology from University of Westminster UK, and a PhD in Business from Nottingham Trent University UK.
Dr. Suleiman was born on the 7th of February 1978 into the family of Alh. Shitu Suleiman and Haj. Rakiya Shitu Suleiman.
He has worked with Premium Pensions Limited as Head Reconciliation, the banking Industry with United Bank for Africa as Technical Assistant to the Head, Islamic Banking division, and is currently in his 12th year as a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he lectures in Strategic Management; and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Suleiman also lectured Enterprise and Business Development, International Business and Communication, and International Business Environment and Strategy at Nottingham Trent University, UK.
He has attended and presented at conferences and has published papers in journals.
