Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe has called on the people to live together in peace stressing that meaningful development will elude any human society that is bedeviled by crises.
Dr Balarabe made the call in a message during the breaking of fast organised by the Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu and attended by Muslims and Christians at his palace in Kafanchan.
Represented by Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Hassan of the state’s Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), the deputy governor commended the emir for his peaceful disposition and exemplary conduct, which she said should be emulated by all.
While appreciating the Emir for providing an avenue that will enhance peaceful coexistence in the area, Dr Balarabe called on Muslims and Christians to consolidate on the gesture by living in peace.
On his part, the member representing Jema’a constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Ali Kalat, described the event as a welcome development and urged that it be maintained to foster peace.
Similarly, the Chairman Jema’a Local Government Council, Peter Danjuma Averik, thanked the Emir for the initiative and called on all to be loyal to constituted authority for meaningful development.
