The Special Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court has been invited to take over the probe of the recent killings on the Mambila Plateau in Taraba State if the federal government is hampered from carrying investigations into the matter.
The Save Humanity Advocacy Centre, in a letter to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, called the attention of the government on the concerns the affected communities have expressed about the attacks.
The centre in the letter signed by its executive director, Comrade Abubakar Ibrahim said there was need to investigate the allegation of killings to prevent a backlash.
