Kaduna beefs security as protest spreads

There was security beef up around Kaduna metropolis and Government House on Tuesday as the #SecureNorth protest spreads nationwide

Daily Trust observed that there were police vehicles stationed around the government house roundabout and armed policemen around 10 am.

The protesters were at the government house on Monday insisting to see Governor Nasir el-Rufai.

The protesters on Tuesday gathered at the State House of Assembly around 12pm with drums and sound system dancing and shouting “Secure North Now”, “End Banditry” and “End kidnapping now”.
