The governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufa’I has expressed delight over the various contributions by the Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) in attracting investments and investors to the state.
The governor who spoke at the 48th annual general meeting of the chamber yesterday said the chamber has over the years, recorded tremendous success in showcasing the abundant resources and opportunities in the state and the country at large.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Kaduna State Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, Dr Yusuf Saleh, the governor pledged his continuous support to the chamber in achieving its objective.
He acknowledged the efforts of the chamber in showcasing foreign and indigenous companies by exposing their businesses to Nigerians.
A former council member, Prince Remi Fadahunsi thanked Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i for always remembering the chamber as an engine of progress for any government to move.
He noted that the AGM is aimed at reviewing the progress made by the chamber and charting a way forward.
President of the chamber, Alhaji Suleiman Aliyu, disclosed that preparations for the 44th Kaduna International Trade Fair slated to take place from 3rd to 12th February 2023 have commenced.
