- Kaduna Runs, which will be a half international marathon race, will hold on November 21st, 2020;
- Ten elite athletes are expected to participate from across the world;
- About 10,000 persons, including youths from higher institutions and other senior citizens, are also expected to take part in the race;
- Prizes would be awarded to top 10 male and female, including local and international athletes;
- The cost of the forms for the marathon ranges from N5,000 for adults to N3,000 for children below 18. It is free for senior citizens of 65 years and above;
- There will be something for everyone; from those seeking the glory of winning a sporting contest, to young persons who will want to hone their talents, to citizens who merely want to exercise or meet people or cheer up the runners;
- The 21 km half-marathon will be 13 miles less strenuous than a full marathon and registered runners can drop off at any point;
- The marathon route which will pass through the main artery of Kaduna city, will be a family and an all inclusive affair;
- Running segments of 5km and 10km will also be catered for within the 21km race, everyone can run or even stroll at his or her pace and level of endurance;
- Governor Nasir El Rufa’i has registered to participate in the race and will run for 5km.
