Kabafest to hold in September

The Kaduna Book and Arts Festival (Kabafest) is set to hold from September 5 to 8, 2018, in Kaduna unlike the maiden edition which took place in June.

This year’s event would feature about 70 guests that comprises writers, poets, actors, musicians, artists and filmmakers.

Last year’s festival featured writers such as Leila Aboulela, Toni Kan, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Richard Ali, Andrew Walker and many others. There were also poetry performances and a musical concert by Jeremiah Gyang.

Kabafest is a four-day programme which will also include booklogues, workshops, performances, an art exhibition, a stage play, a film screening and panel discussions with Nigerian and international writers and thinkers.
