Former Ambassador of Nigeria to Switzerland, Yayaha Kwande, has described the ex-President of the Court of Appeal, and the Galadiman Katsina, late Justice Mamman Nasir as an epitome of social justice and a true disciple of late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello.
Ambassador Kwande stated, in a condolence message at the weekend, that late Justice Nasir had lived a life with the fear of Allah.
He described the late justice as a peace maker who promoted the country’s unity, stressing that his strides had helped to strengthen the course of the nation’s judicial system.
“He had lived to be an epitome of high discipline, good moral values and social justice to the generality of the people. The late Galadiman Katsina was a true disciple of late Sir. Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduana of Sokoto. He was also a link to the standing northerners that served and lived under the late Sardauna,” he stated.
Kwande commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, the government and good people Katsina state, while also praying that “Allah grants the deceased lasting peace in Jannatil Firdausi.”
