Justice for Jibril Sadi Mato

As Jibrin Sadi Mato is undergoing a severely deteriorating condition of a severe cut in his throat at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), the suspected wicked and the custodians of his safeguard and well-being are relaxed and enjoying their moment.

Poor Sadi met his woe inside the student’s hostel of the El-Kanemi College of Islamic Theology, Maiduguri. At the time of this report, the management of the college is working round the clock scheming cover-up. What a degeneration of moral standards? Sadly, the college appears to uphold the banner of the religion of peace, Islam. What is to become of the fate of Sadi is only in the knowledge of the highest.

Past a day after the horror, no one was asking a few critical questions. What is the college hiding? Who was the perpetrator? Who was with Jibrin before the incident? Does His Excellency Umar Zulum know about this incident? Is there any government agency regulating yes-for-profit schools in Borno State? Are the Security Agencies informed? On which ground did UMTH register and admit the victim into the ICU? Someone must be responsible and someone must order a full, fair and independent investigation into this matter. Today it is Jibrin, nobody knows who will be next. Beware!

Justice for Mato is all we desire. Mato, keep pushing, the highest is your Walih.
