JUST IN: Taraba guber poll: PDP’s Ishaku leads in 11 out of 15 LGAs

The incumbent governor of Taraba state and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in last Saturday’s governorship election, Darius Ishaku, is currently leading in 11 out of 15 local government areas from the results declared so far by the INEC Returning Officer for the state, Professor Adamu Iya.

However, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Sani Danladi Abubakar, has already won in 4 local government areas including his local government area, Karim Lamido.

Daily Trust reports that PDP’s Ishaku also won in his local government area, Takum and ten others such as Zing, Yorro, Kai, Bali, Donga, Wukari, Bali, Gashaka, Kurmi and Ussa LGAs.

The APC candidate however won in Jalingo, Gassol, Ibbi and Karim Lami.

Results of Sardauna local government area is still being awaited as at the time of filing this report.
