Just in: Shiites block National Assembly gate

Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), known as Shiites, have blocked the main entrance gate to the National Assembly.

The IMN members, are protesting the continued arrest of their leader Ibrahim Zakzakky.

In their hundreds, the Shiites members took their protest to the National Assembly, a development that forced the security men manning the gate to the federal legislature to close the gate.
