JUST IN: Retirement: Buhari, IGP in crucial meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting behind closed doors with the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting which started around 5pm, comes hours to the IGP retirement from the police.
Daily Trust reports that there have been intense lobby and machinations in the presidency for the extension of the service of IGP Idris.
Born on 15 January, 1959 in Niger state, Idris  was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in 1984,after graduating from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria where he studied Agriculture.
Recalled that a similar meeting was  held on January, 4, 2019.
