Among the items seen taken away were different sizes of mattress, drinks and electronic devices.
Hours after the video went viral, another footage showed where all the recovered items were safely kept.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command also stated that there was no looting.
The cause of the inferno is unknown but an eyewitness said a spark from one of the Christmas trees there ignited the inferno.
The fire was raging seriously when Daily Trust visited the scene around mid-day.
Firefighters have battling the inferno while security operatives have cordoned off the scene.
The persons who broke into the premises did so before the arrival of security operatives and rescue officials.
It is unclear if there are casualties in the incident.
