Super Eagles coach, Finidi George, has resigned from his position one month after he was appointed to replace Jose Peseiro at the senior national team, Daily Trust can confirm.
Finidi confirmed his resignation in a WhatsApp chat with our correspondent.
“Yes, it is true I have resigned, ” he said when asked to confirm.

Finidi’s reign as coach of the Eagles will be the shortest ever in the history of the coaching with the three-time African champion in the last decade.
