The Mogaji Erubu in Ilorin Emirate of Kwara State, Dr Zubair Folorunsho Erubu, has been kidnapped.
Erubu was said to have been abducted on his way to his farm between Ilorin and Afon in Asa local government area of the state, on Thursday.

Said to be in his 60s, Erubu is a retired permanent secretary in the state civil service and former Chief Medical Officer at the state Government House clinic.
A statement by the spoken of the State Police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, said the commissioner of police, Tuesday Assayomo, had ordered discreet investigation of the incident, the rescue of the victim and the arrest of the suspected kidnappers.
Nigerians have expressed worries over the rising kidnap cases across the country, calling on the government to address the trend.
