President Muhammadu Buhari is currently hosting officials of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In attendance at the dinner which started around 8:10pm were the Director General of the PCC, Rotimi Amaechi, a former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Senator Ali Ndume, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu and Senator Bashir Lado.
Others were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, among others.
Our correspondent reports that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is expected to deliver a remark, according to the programme of event was conspicuously absent, as at the time journalists were excused from the venue.
Also, the national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole whose name was on the programme of the event was absent. He is to deliver a remark.
The president who was declared winner of the February 23 presidential election had in January, inaugurated the campaign council with him as chairman and Tinubu as the co-chairman.
