Bandits kill married women in fresh Sokoto attack

Bandits have attacked another village in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State, killing six people, including two married women.
Daily Trust gathered that the bandits invaded Saminaka village, whose inhabitants are mostly hunters, in the early hours of Sunday.
The attack came after most of the men had left for hunting.
It was not clear whether the attack was connected to the killing of 13 bandits, who attacked Tangaza town on Saturday.
“They shot two women to death and slaughter four young men.
“All vigilantes and Yan Sakai in the area are now in the bush, searching for the assailants,” the source said.
On Saturday, an angry mob killed and burnt the corpses of 13 bandits, who had attacked and killed four people in Tangaza town.
