Journalists, who went to his polling unit in Ilesha, learnt that the Interior Minister would not participate in the exercise.
A media aide to the minister, Jane Osuji, confirmed to Daily Trust that Aregbesola is not in the country at present.
According to her, the Minister is in Germany representing the country at a programme.
However, some of his aides said he would vote before the end of the day.
Sola Fasure, Aregbesola’s media aide, told Daily Trust that the minister could not be in Osun to vote because of restriction of movement.
Fasure said Aregbesola had another official engagement.
