Barring last-minute change of plan, the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) will declare winner of the weekend primary exercise in Ondo state, any moment from now.
Daily Trust reports that 16 governorship aspirants participated in the primary.
The aspirants include Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Jimoh Ibrahim, Olusola Oke, Wale Akinterinwa, Diran Iyantan, Dayo Faduyile, Gbenga Edema and Jimi Odimayo and Isaac Kekemeke.
Others include Olusoji Ehinlanwo, Olugbenga Edema, Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo, Akinfolarin Samuel, Ohunyeye Felix and Morayo Lebi, Garvey Iyanjan and Judith Omogoroye, Ifeoluwa Oyedele.

The primary was held in the 203 wards of the state, amid irregularities.
Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi head of the seven-man committee, overseeing the primary, has arrived at the coalition centre, in Akure.
Ovie Omo-Agege, Secretary of the committee, is already compiling results from the 18 local government areas where the primary took place.
Our correspondent reports that party executives, security agents, and journalists are seated at the venue awaiting the announcement of results.
