Former Tottenham Hotspur Manager, Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the new manager of Italian Seria A giants, AS Roma.
The Former Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid manager, who has only been out of work for less than a month will replace Paulo Fonseca whose departure was announced by Roma earlier on Tuesday.

Mourinho spent two successful seasons in Italy from 2008-2010 when he won the league twice with Inter Milan along with the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

Roma are in a battle to qualify for Europe next season as they are seventh in Serie A, nine points behind city rivals Lazio in sixth and two points ahead of eighth-placed Sassuolo, with four games of the season remaining.
