This is a passionate appeal to authorities at Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO) to stop the lopsided rationing of power supply between Jos town and Sabon Garin Narabi, a border and industrious town in Bauchi State but very close to Plateau State capital.
The axis of Bauchi from Sabon Gari boundary to Tilde town, Toro and Magama junction are at the receiving end in terms of JED energy supply to its customers despite the fact that we pay for the energy as at when due to enable us to produce our various products including rice, table water, bottled water, among others.
On inquiry, we found that there is deliberate plan by JED to shortchange Bauchi axis to boost supply to some areas to the detriment of medium and small businesses in neighbouring Bauchi State for reasons best known to them.
- Nigeria loses $1.7bn court case against JP Morgan
- Omolade, 39-year-old Nigerian footballer, found dead in Italy
This is therefore a passionate appeal to NERC and the media to help us and save our businesses before they die prematurely due to the interests of some people without recourse to the fair economic development of the nation.
