Jos crisis: Old students’ association commiserates with Lalong

The Nasarawa Old Students Association (NOSA), the alumni body of the Government Science School Nasarawa, has commiserated with the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong, over the recent tragedies that befell the state.

In a statement jointly issued Saturday by the National President of the association, Ahmed Danladi Idris, and Assistant National PRO, Ibrahim Uba Ahmed, the association described the incident which led to the loss of lives and property in the state as unfortunate.

The association said the nation has noted the “untiring efforts” of the governor in combating the menace of insecurity and restoring peaceful coexistence among the people of the state.

“NOSA is undoubtedly confident of your administration’s ability to overcome the latest crises as you have been doing since coming to office. We believe these efforts will certainly not be in vain as this will bring lasting peace to Plateau State.

As an alumni association of which you are a prominent and active member, NOSA identifies and stands with you in these trying moments as we pray along with all peace-loving Nigerians for the return of normalcy to the affected parts of the state,” the statement said.
