The Jos Jasawa Community Development Association (JCDA) has called on the federal and Plateau State governments to bring an end to the incessant blockade of highways to kill travellers.

Since a 2001 crisis in the state, many travellers have been killed by miscreants block roads and profile the travellers from the opposite sides of any crisis.

The call came after the spate of reprisal killings in the state recently in Jos North LGA.

The group, in a statement by its President, Alhaji Shehu Ibrahim Massallah, also called on Governor Simon Bako Lalong not to be distracted or deterred from his tireless effort at attaining sustainable peace and peaceful co-existence among the citizens of the state.
