Jos crisis: Govt dispels review of 6pm to 6am curfew

The Plateau State government on Friday said the rumour making the rounds that it has reviewed the 6pm to 6am curfew imposed on some parts of the state to 4pm and 6am is not true.

Commissioner for Information and Communication in the state, Dan Manjang, in a statement urged Jos residents to discard such information and to go about their lawful activities.

“Curfew remains between 6pm to 6am in Jos North, Jos South and Bassa Local Government Areas until further notice please. The public is therefore advised to discountenance any information contrary to this please. Obey constitutional authority to serve you better,” he said.
