Jos, Abuja, Kaduna plans Sallah Polo Tourneys

As the Ramadan Fasting period nears its climax, polo clubs across the country are lining up a number of events to celebrate the Ramadan holidays in grand style.

Polo Royals can authoritatively reveal that preparations are in top gear by the management of top polo clubs like the Jos Polo Club, Guards Polo Club and Kaduna Polo Club among others, to host a special tournament as the high point of 2023 Sallah Holidays.

Apart from celebrating Sallah, the festive tourneys that are traditionally open to playing members of the respective club usually present a timely opportunity for the clubs to prepare their players ahead of the commencement of the polo season that went on recess before the Ramadan Fasting period sets in.

A Chieftain of Jos Polo Club who dropped this hint in a phone chat, told polo Royals that the Sallah holiday in Jos this year would be special and memorable as the management of Jos polo club is planning to host a special tournament during the holidays.

The Jos polo top shot who hinted that there are strong indications that other clubs like Guards Polo Club in Abuja, Kano Polo Club, Kano Polo Club  Minna Polo Club and Kaduna Polo Club are planning similar tournaments as part of events lined up for Sallah festivities this year.

Polo Royals checks also revealed that Maiduguri Polo Club, Katsina Polo Club and Yola Polo Club are also planning to host polo tournaments or Durbar events during the celebration scheduled to be held shortly after the Ramadan Feasting in the last week of April.
