Jonathan’s supporters in Ghana pledge 2 million votes

The supporters coming under the auspice of ‘Friends of President Goodluck Jonathan in Ghana’ have engaged themselves in massive mobilization and sensitization of Nigerians in a bid to secure his success at the polls.
One of the leaders of the group, Prince Emmanuel Okeson, who is also the coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) Ghana, said they would deliver at least two million votes from Ghana for President Jonathan during the election.
Speaking in Accra, Okeson said, “Since those here in Ghana are connected to each family in Nigeria, we shall adopt a technique where we will speak to those at home through the contact we will make in Ghana.
“The significance of our approach is for us to promote the endorsement of President Jonathan across and within the length and breadth of Nigeria,” he assured.
Okeson, a former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All Nigeria Community (ANC) in Ghana, argued that his support gleaned from the conviction that Jonathan deserved a second term going by his performance in office.
