…Jonathan cancels trip to Imo

Rather than embark on the trip, the president summoned an emergency meeting with top government officials at the State House in Abuja over the outbreak of Ebola virus disease in the country.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; and the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Also in attendance were the Minister of State for Health, Khaliru Al-Hassan; the Minister of State (II) for Foreign Affairs, Nurudeen Mohammed; the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dieziani Alison-Madueke; among others.
